Death Investigation

On January 13, 2015 at approximately 0921 hours Sgt. Matthew Dunham was dispatched to 1069 Highway 195 North in reference to a one month old infant not breathing. Dispatch advised that Pafford EMS was enroute.   

Upon arrival Deputy Dunham made contact with the mother   who told him that her baby was already in the ambulance. The mother stated that when she woke up she checked on the infant girl and noticed that she was not breathing the mother stated that she then called 911.   The mother stated that she went to bed around 0300 hours this morning and her daughter was fine.    She Stated that when she woke up around 9:00 am hours she noticed that her daughter was not breathing.

The infant’s body has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime lab to determine cause of death.
