Death Investigation

On August 8, 2017 at approximately 1500 hours, Deputy Brown received a call from the police dispatcher regarding deceased male, in the 200 block of Hempstead 198, in Saratoga, Arkansas.

Upon arrival, he met with Pafford EMS workers who stated they were called to an unresponsive male laying in the middle of the road on this date at 1420 hours. When Pafford EMS arrived on scene it was determined the male was deceased.

Deputy Brown searched the male, located a driver's license and identified him as Thomas Cain who resided at 214 Hempstead 197, in Saratoga, Arkansas. Deputy Brown did not observe any visible injuries or anything that appeared to be out of place. Thomas appeared to have been walking with a stick and had his wallet, money and other property on his person.

Coroner Ben Brazzel arrived on scene and pronounced the time of death at 1545 hours
