56-year-old John Lyndell Hill of Blevins, Arkansas wanted for Attempted Murder has been taken into custody. Hill was arrested in Granite City Illinois shortly after mid-night on Tuesday August 28, 2018 by Granite City Police.

Granite City Police made a traffic stop and identified Hill and took him into custody. According to Granite City Police Hill had in his possession 2 rifles, a handgun and a Hand grenade.

Hill is being held by Granite City Police pending extradition back to Hempstead County.
