 Recovery of $20,000.00 ATV, Arrest of Suspect

 

On October 9, 2015, at approximately 8:10 a.m., Deputy Mc Bride was dispatched to 3307 Highway 29 South in reference to Commercial Burglary. Upon arrival at Parrish Equipment, he spoke with John May. John stated that when he came to work and had found the chain to the pen had been cut.   

 

After gaining entrance to the storage pen a 2015 Polaris Razor, 1000 was stolen. the Razor was red, black, and white and valued at 20,229.00 dollars.   The Razor was entered into N.C.I.C on October 9, 2015.

 

  On 12 October 2015, Inv. Gary Dorman developed information as to a possible suspect in the theft and a possible location of the Razor.  

 

 Inv. Dorman was able to develop Daniel Witcher age 41 of Rosston as a suspect in the theft of the Razor Dorman, Deputies from Nevada and Columbia assisted in the recovery of the Razor in a remote location in Columbia county.

 

Witcher was arrested and transported to the HCDF charged with Commercial Burglary and Theft of property.  He is awaiting a first court appearance the $20,000.00 Razor was returned to Parrish Equipment.
