Public Notice

 

After reviewing the information provided by the CDC and Arkansas Department of Health the following provisions will be made to protect against the introduction and/or spread of the COVID-19 virus at the Hempstead County Detention Center.

Effective Immediately

ONLY EMPLOYEES AND PERSONS IN CUSTODY WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE THE SECURE AREA OF THE DETENTION CENTER. THIS INCLUDES BOOKING, KITCHEN, AND CONTROL

ALL FINGERPRINTING FOR BACKGROUND CHECKS WILL BE DISCONTINUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

ALL FACE TO FACE VISITATION IS CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. VIDEO VISITATION WILL STILL BE ALLOWED.
