Rafter J Cowboy Church and the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office came together on Saturday October 17, for their 4th annual ROC Round-Up. ROC Cowboys and Cowgirls competed in four events at the Rafter J Arena to include Goat Dressing, Roping, Goat Ribbon Pull, and Pig Scramble. Trophies and Belt Buckles were awarded to the Best Dressed Cowboy and Cowgirl, and The All-around Cowboy and Cowgirl. Some Clients took advantage to ride horses provided by Rafter J Members.

This is our fourth year for the Round-Up all who were there received a blessing to watch the ROC clients compete. I want to thank the deputies and Rafter J members who worked to put this event on. One client told me this is the best thing that he has ever done said Sheriff Singleton
